It ‘s been quite a time since we last saw a new handset from Huawei. Today, the producer shall submit the Huawei Ascend G330, a mid-range smartphone, that will have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
As in many other occasions, the Chinese version of the U.S. FCC has released the information without notice. The device will be marketed in the variants with HSPA (China Unicom) and CDMA (China Telecom). In the rest of the world, the G330 will probably be available as an 3G HSPA.
The Huawei Ascend G330 will have a display by 4 inches with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The main camera is of 5 megapixels, and it also has a secondary camera for video calls. Everything should work with chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225 , a dual-core processor at 1GHz Cortex-A5 CPU and 512MB of RAM. The most important thing, however, is the presence of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
The Ascend G330 should measure 122.5 x 62.6 x 11.2 mm and weigh 140 g. These numbers are far from impressive, but we still have to wait for information regarding its price.
Since the presentation of the Huawei Ascend D Quad last February at the Mobile World Congress, one of the major questions that many are facing is that relating to its possible price.
Since then, many have followed and waited. According to the latest, the Huawei Ascend D Quad should be marketed in China for the price of 2,999 yuan (about 380 euros).
The Huawei Ascend D Quad, therefore, could arrive in Europe at about 400 euros, a price that is very competitive when compared to that of the other quad-core smartphone.
If, however, the terminal will be available in China as early as the coming months, the wait for the Old Continent was destined to last until October. At that point, most likely, the price of other quad-core models will be lowered.
