Sony has produced a phone with the largest footprints! Yes, I am talking about the latest addition to the Xperia family. The Xperia Z Ultra! In words of Joe Levi “Z Ultra has everything you want in your next phone.” The Z Ultra is the first phone to have the Snapdragon 800 SoC inside and is also the first Android 4.2.2 device by the company. The 6.44-inch display has grabbed our attention. Undoubtedly it is a huge device, I think is huge-est among all smart phones, but with 6.5mm thickness it sits more comfortably in the hand than you might expect. The full HD screen really dazzles too. Well, the same can be said about the new touch input capabilities. Sony’s custom takes on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. With a 1080p resolution, there remains absolutely no doubt that the Z Ultra is a mega hit. As a true phablet, you’ll be able to use a stylus with the Z Ultra. While it doesn’t come with pen-style input device, the display is capable of taking notes using the built-in handwriting recognition tool. Interestingly, it also lets you use a pencil or a metal pen to write on the screen.
Indeed, the Xperia Z Ultra seems like a very capable smart phone in nearly every respect. It’s a definite possibility that this phablet might win over the smart phone market as the power and size combination are currently unique. This handset shows how keen the Japanese brand is to show it’s at the forefront of technology.
