LG Optimus 4X HD vs HTC One X: A Comparison

We have already dubbed 2012 as the year of the quad-core smartphone: different manufacturers, in fact, have decided to opt for this solution as regards the range top of the range of devices.

HTC and LG have decided to focus on the NVIDIA Tegra processor 3 , characterized by a 4-core CPU (plus a fifth with power saving features), capable of ensuring performance well above the average, especially in the gaming industry. The only flaw, a tendency to warm up a bit too much when put to the test.

Completely different, the choices of the two producers as regards the aspect of design and construction of the respective terminals: if the HTC One X has a unibody polycarbonate shell, strong and very pleasant to touch and look, the LG Optimus 4X HD proposes a form factor already seen.

The most careful design of the HTC One X  has the downside of the lack of support for MicroSD and ‘the inability to remove the battery.

Both devices are among the main strengths of the 4.7-inch display with HD resolution. The LG Optimus 4X HD, however, has proved to be much brighter and, at the same time, more expensive as regards the appearance of autonomy.

And we want to dedicate the last chapter battery sign. The greater capacity of one mounted in the LG Optimus 4X HD (2150 mAh against 1800 mAh capacity than it has the HTC One X) does not match an equally greater autonomy. On the contrary, the HTC One X ensures the best results. An update of software that optimizes resource management could change the situation.
